    Enjoy it and just laugh!

I wonder if they'd laugh too, if they were made to watch footage of themselves afterwards?

Lol - they mount up over the years mate, especially when you're in shops and buy stuff you think will 'look nice', but which you've already got stacks of at home!

Well, I flippin' love Christmas and I'm an atheist. In fact, one thing that does annoy me intensely is people trying to ruin the joyous commercial and greedy annual spirit of the season by trying to introduce religion into it.

I used to get sick of (or was it sick at) Work's Dos when I was working. Quite often there was the Work's Work's Do which was mandatory to attend if you wanted promotion, then the Office Do which was mandatory if you didn't want to be labelled a weirdo, anti-social, tightwad, then the Team Do which usually ended in a punch-up, or a divorce depending on your behaviour under the influence, and a malfunctioning photocopier.

I remember work Christmas 'dos' ending in punch-ups a couple of times. Always 'the usual suspects'. You could guess who'd kick off in advance. Morons!
    Mr. Tact!

Main system: MMs/ADCs/Low output MC's/One rare Japanese SUT/One scarce British phono stage/various tonearms/hefty Japanese DD TT and hefty Japanese BD TT and small British BD TT. 4 CD players/2 jitter buster/2 DACs/Valve buffer. TVC stepped attenuator or valve pre-amp or solid state pre-amp. Current dumping power-amp or either of two Class A SS power-amp or Class A EL34 valve monos or big Japanese (part Class A) integrated. Big dual concentric speakers/Smaller dual concentric speakers/Two way British compacts and full range speakers, amongst others. And too much more to list!

Oh yes the work do...sat around a table with exactly the same power politics as in the office. Trying to make small talk with partners involved. We have in effect brought our partner along to experience the power politics as they all weigh you up. A night out when you cant actually relax...a night out at work......like doing overtime

The person bitching all year long trying to lose me my job. is making small talk with my partner. I can hear the veiled digs going in and heck knows what is being said by the end.. Horrendous and a form of torture. If you dont go you are antisocial and will never hear the last of it.

Its no wonder people reach for the alcohol which leads to all sorts of problems and job threatening situations. You cant win unless you are immune to the outcome.

It is a very good reason to hate Christmas
