FS: Sony TA-FB740R QS Amplifier (UK Edition)

Good mid range Sony amp, useful for second system, student son/nephew uni system etc. Nice phono stage, rumble filter, defeatable tone controls and loudness (which I am a fan of for late night listening). Has a toroidal transformer inside. The UK edition is a bit like the Marantz KI, note the copper screws. Comes with the remote but the amp has a few marks on the top as shown. Front is good. Bargain at £50 collected from North London.
Might consider posting at buyer's cost and risk if I can find a box.

These are pretty decent amps. If anybody's after a second / spare amp, it's a total no brainer for that sort of money.

Could also make a handy stopgap for anyone waiting to buy the right amp without losing much, but be warned you might get to like the loudness control, tone controls and remote! In fact I'll probably stick it in my main system for a bit soon, handy for late night listening in the working week.
