The Sony Sony PS-6750 was my very first turntable, second-hand. It loved it. Nice arm bearings.

Nice stuff. But one question: do you have any problems with feedback with the turntable so close to the speaker?

Fortunately, the Sony tt works fine in that position. There's no feedback, lid up or down, even at high volumes. I don't suppose it hurts that the deck weighs 26kg.

I'm expecting my Nakamichi 630 back from the menders soon. It's got a smaller footprint than the Yamaha tuner and will let me move the tt over to the left by a few inches. Every little helps!

    Default Great Systems!

Hi Paul. Really nice systems you have there. I am using the Proac Response D Two, very similar to your 2S. In fact with even the same wood finish.

How does it sound with the very nice looking Audionote gear? I am using mine with an Air Tight ATM1-S, really sublime sound with any type of music.

I have not used Audionote, but read a lot of favorable reviews.

    Another Paul here...

Paul, I really enjoyed that AN, Croft, Proac system. It did a lot of things right especially in terms of the midrange, imaging and detail. I've always admired the Air Tight gear but have never heard it. Your description of a really sublime sound with any type of music makes me think I should check out them out when the time comes for an amp change. If later in life I focus more on digital I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Audio Note dac. Very analogue sounding.
