Yes, I believe it is as no Elric films have yet been made. The Final Programme is confused and disjointed, but visually interesting and true to the themes of Moorcock's work.

Blimey. Don Henderson. He always played strange characters.

Been rather remiss over the last couple of nights on the creepy film front (busy doing other things), but will 'resume duties' later this afternoon! Yes, Barry, The Ghoul was good

Who's Don Henderson? Apart from his role in said film, I've never heard of him. What else has he been in that I might know?

He featured in many things Marco. My main recollection of him was in the 'Bulman' TV series as the slightly weird detective, which also starred Siobhan Redmond.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Ah yes, I know who you mean now. Used to watch that series... If I remember correctly, for some bizarre reason, he always wore gloves!

Ok folks, as the the day draws to a close and evening approaches, it's time to settle down in front of the log fire with a cup of Darjeeling for today's creepy classic, this time from 1972. It's Tales From the Crypt, with Joan Collins and old faithful Peter Cushing:
