    The S100s were compared to ATC when first out, but 'a little more fruity' they were described as, and Hi-Fi News stated that they were close to a panel in sound.

    There is a current later model.

    I have spendor sp1s on the original open stands. I have 57s and 63s and can confirm the spendors do indeed sound very like my statics-they just do more bass.

    My wife adores them and has banned me from selling them.
