    Question hi all, newbie here

I have dipped in to forums on & off over the years for support.
I have very eclectic tastes in music, from irish traditional to 30s/40s jazz & rnb to 70s soul, millie betty etc, Gibbs n Shaka to Chronixx, like I say, wide ranging
my current system is a denon 201sa through bi wired Eltax monitor 3 for cd/radio and a projct rpm1 thru aegis evo 3 biwired with a pioneer cdr 609 to record my vinyl.
I have recently been given an old systemdek iIx with an arm I cannot identify with a wee green bird on it & am wondering if it is worth reviving the systemdex?
    any thought greatly appreciated.
    Glad to be here

Hi Mary - and welcome to AOS.

There will be plenty of advice here, I am sure, about reviving a turntable!

... I suspect that you have a picture of a moth rather than a bird on your tonearm?
In which case it is an OEM Rega arm and probably rather nice!

I've been trying to find an image online of the moth logo, but no luck so far!

    Hello Mary. Welcome to AOS.

Your Systemdek is a good turntable and well worth resurrecting.

Ask a few questions in the Analogue Arts section or the Past Masters area if you need advice on it. I'm sure there'll be plenty of opinions.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Is it something like this? - that's the Moth Group logo and they get their arms from Rega and put their own name on them!

    Hi Geof n Jerry,
    many thanks for the input.
the moth? Is green & in flight wish I could add photo. I have searched everywhere on internet & cannot find the little lime (ish) green bird/moth represented anywhere.
the turntable has an appeal for me as a child of the 60's. Everything is a bit lose, but I would like to restore it.
I will check out some of suggestions posted to see how much work it is & if its within my skillset.
    thanks guys, much appreciated.
