Epic customer support from RAAL
I blew a ribbon on my RAALs this weekend, totally my fault. I was checking their website for UK service agent, none. So I dropped their HQ an email. What do you know, not only do I not have to pay to ship it off to be fixed, but they're sending out a replacement pair of their upgraded ribbon foils totally FOC.
They're £50 each from Madisound.
Result
Can't get better than that. A free set of replacement ribbon foils, and they're the newer upspecced parts that my older units don't have...

Same for me, my deqx threw a wobbly at Scalford and blew a ribbon. Alexander sent me a new pair free of charge. Brilliant customer service above and beyond

Easy to fit with a bit of soldering and a hot air gun to stretch the foil

I believe they no longer have UK distribution, they just work straight in from Serbia. Which makes perfect sense, they're dead easy to fit and dial in. makes a demo tough though.

Ribbons arrived today, took ten minutes to swap over, all up and running. Great service, I can't think of another driver company who do this. Top service.

Did you use a hot air blower on them to make them taut, that was the scary bit for me, how far to go.
