Default Accuphase VX700 preamp / multi channel preamp Mint £1650

    Hi

Continuing my audio clearout to finance my French farm money pit.

For sale a mint condition Accuphase VX700 preamp, which so I believe uses the preamp section of one of the previous top of the line models. Original price was around £15000 so the sale price is a really good buy. You can even buy modules from Accuphase to upgrade the multichannel to modern inputs.

I would use it as a preamp as it has an outstanding sound, especially for live music.

The unit functions on 230V and was originally from Japan so it is marked 100V on the rear. Inside all Accuphase products are multivoltage transformers with jumpers to move to select regional voltage.

Comes with original accessories like the remote control, microphone for room setup and a manual in japanese. I will repackage into a new box for shipping as old one took on some humidity.

Priced to sell £1650 + shipping

Do you know if it converts analogue inputs into digital for the volume control then back to analogue for a power amp?

Thanks yes, I think the answer to my question is it does. Interesting that the A/D conversion can be switched between 48 and 96khz, I wonder if that changes the sound.

    Hello Marco

Thank you for the compliment. I'm not too sure about immaculate taste

All is fine here since closing the audio business in 2009. I am a farmer now and have taken on a 400sqm barn conversion, hence selling off the rest of my odds and ends to fund the roof replacement!

    Cheers

    Hi Lawrence

I am glad that you found your answer! I am not sure whether there is an audible difference, I guess that it would depend on the rest of your setup.

    Regards
