Hello everybody, I am not a Robot. My name is Andrew I live in Manchester.
I've recently started listening to music again. Using Raspberry pi and IQAudio DAC with Kodi (LibreElec)
Results are excellent. Looking for better speakers to replace my B&W DM7MKII's. I also have Kef Calinda.

Amp is JVC AX-77 although I also have Trio KA-907 in need of repair.

    Hi Andrew
Welcome to the forum, glad to have you here.

From what I read the B &W DM7's are amplifier fussy. The DM7's look to be a bass reflex, the usual trick with these is a pair of socks, but I recall extending the rear port about 200mm on a pair of Kefs with a piece of applicable tubing. it was a transformation to better audio, maybe give that a go. The JVC looks to be a nice amp.

    Cheers / Chris

    Hi Andrew. Welcome to AOS.

Why not start a thread in the Blank Canvas section and have a chat with members about your ideas for new speakers.

I have a soft spot for the Calindas, they were one of the last models from KEF's classic 'C' range.

Your Trio amp is another classic and well worth sorting out, there are a couple of trade members who could probably help you with that.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
