This will go for well over £1k when the bidding finishes in 6 days. Decent 2 track studio machines are going up in value quickly. Like everything, you are generally better off buying the best condition one you can find, unless you are a skilled technician like Alan.
When you look at the TEAC X1000 & X2000 decks going for over 1K , I don't know why the BR20s are normally so cheap as they are vastly superior machine in every way but 2 track only.

Guys, the only way is up for clean good quality 2 track 15 IPS machines. There are increasing numbers of available tapes and well heeled buyers are snapping them up. Also I heard that a Chinese company is buying Studer A80s and the such by the hundreds for a duplicating plant in China.
