ou might slip, you might slide, you might
Stumble and fall by the road side
But don't you ever let nobody drag your spirit down
Remember you're walking up to heaven

Don't let nobody turn you around
… Walk with the rich, walk with the poor
Learn from everyone, that's what life is for
And don't you let nobody drag your spirit down

Buy some autoformers and ask one of the genius engineers on here to build one up for you!

    Good idea
But the Tap-X has a nice remote and balance function, that i really like,
And i am a little lazy and has a kind of “OCD” approach about channel balance, so i would like to have those functions

tap-x sounds like sh*t in comparison with a simple slagle AVC based pre. been there, sold it in no time. something's fucked up there, let alone buffered outputs with +6db boost which are disgrace. i suspect relays used to control the auto former output taps.

    Nikolaj,

I sold my TAP-X to a guy in Australia earlier this year.
If you email John Chapman he might know of one for sale as he still provides customers with an informal back-up service. I bought mine from a customer in the USA that john introduced to me.
I will PM you John's email address.
I still have one of his Bent NOS passive preamps (with remote) which uses the Stevens and Billington transformers.

    Good luck,

    Neil
