Sounds exciting. I'll do a write up when I've had it on a while. Hope it's as good as I think it'll be lol

I would disagree to some extent. I see it that the extra mass is driven by the motor continuously and not able to overtake the motor speed and so is more constant.

I reckon we do agree, just worded it differently.

The RRP of the 5mm Tenuto is still £330. It looks a relatively simple thing but it still proves to be quite difficult & expensive to make.

There were seconds of the earlier 3mm version (all gone now) which were defective usually because of blemishes in the material or coating.

The 5mm version presented a different type of defect (warpage post machining on a small proportion) which I hope the next batch will fully resolve. (touch wood)

Here are some midway through production.

The earliest mats we produced were the copper Rubato 3mm model (not dissimilar to the Micro CU-180) but it became apparent that the profile chosen could cause issues if a clamp was used. The Tenuto profile & label recess were altered to allow the record to seat correctly with or without a clamp in use.

Thanks for clearing that up Guy, I must admit to using hearsay as the source of the Price. I'll amend my previous posts.

Mine arrive safe and sound and is currently on my SP10. I'm a bit shocked at the difference it's made but will wait until I have lived with it for a bit before I evaluate.

Edit: Can't edit my earlier post but will make sure the prices are accurate on my thread.

I whole heartedly recommend the tenuto for anyone with the SP10 - plus guy is a gent to deal with.
