    Default WTD Quad 306

I'm looking for a late model Quad 306. Must be in excellent cosmetic condition.
I would prefer an 'unmolested' one from the original owner. However, I would be happy with one that has been 'serviced' by Quad or Amplabs.

    Hi Mike
I have two of them - they are the best amps I have owned. but one on eBay that is in the UK claims to be in good condition

    Chris,
    Thanks for your reply.
However, I have seen the 306 you 'linked to', as I regularly check on 'e-pay', and had already set up a 'search' with e-mail 'alerts'
In addition I have placed 'wanted ad's' here on A.O.S., and also on P.F.M., given that I have successfully sourced several items in the past.
I also regularly check other well known 'on-line' sites, and dealers' that I have dealt with previously.

    Regards

'Great' amps these. I 'bought' one recently and I've been very 'impressed' with a passive preamplifier.

    Hi Jake,
I sold my original 306 back in 2011 when I was expecting to emigrate, and I've regretted it ever since. It was used to drive a pair of SL6Si's. I've since sourced a pair of SL6s's which I'm currently using with 44 & 405-2 amps, the 44 is the one you found for me back in 2013
However, I really want to try them with a 306, to see if I can recreate the 'magic' that I 'remember' from '92

    Regards

Mike I have a really nice 306 that was serviced by Robert off PFM a couple of years ago.

Its grey in a pretty good cosmetic condition and performs really well. It was my intention to keep it along with my other quad stuff but there comes a time when you just have too much stuff. Let me know if its of any interest.

I am pretty certain it has upgraded caps inside too although I would have to look to confirm the sizes, I also think I have the original quad box for it as well.

    Correction,
I've tried to send you a message Andy, however it would appear that I can't.
