For sale: Apogee Centaurus Minor Hybrid Ribbon speakers
Simply superb Hybrid Ribbon speaker for sale. Lots about this design on the web. Have had three of these now, all have been great but this one's been the best by a long way. A lot of that is down to the bass drivers which are original and in excellent order, as are the ribbons (not too difficult to replace if ever needed in the future). Same one's used in the Apogee Stage. Very few signs of wear, a little crush on the base/rear of one, tiny bit of lift on the veneer on top of one (should stick down fine). Sound quality? Gobsmackingly good within the hot spot. Loves valve amps. Demo a pleasure. Collect only from Bedford. £350 (there's an identical pair on sale at a well-known used dealer for £650!).

Indeed. Love to hear how well these perform. I think they look great without the covers on.
