CD reissue from 2000, specially extended and with different track order etc. Not to be confused with the original.

Got loads of Nina's stuff on cd and vinyl. Fabulous performer.

Since we seem to keep coming back to Bill Evans, here's one to listen to, if you don't already know it... On Green Dolphin Street

    Enjoy!

    Very Nice LP this Svend.
Evans style is a little different on this date from other Riverside releases, he really attacks the keys.
Recorded in 1959 but shelved till 1977 for the Japanese market.
Paul Chambers on bass and 'Philly' Joe Jones on drums really swing.

Quite so...much more up-tempo than some of his other recordings. You can tell he had fun recording this one. Some of his lines are a bit similar to Ahmad Jamal's style in a way, then he reverts to his own unmistakeable sound. Wonderful stuff.
