I have a Clef Audio Soloist 50 amplifier coming for a trial this week. It's a very sensible looking thing that the maker claims runs in pure Class A up to 10w, and A/B up to its maximum 50w. It was very well reviewed recently at TNT Audio ( http://www.tnt-audio.com/ampli/clef_soloist50_e.html ) and its £1295 retail price looks to be something of a bargain! If I like it, the Soloist will form part of my dem system for shows etc.

Equally interesting are Clef's Conductor-LP phono stage and Zero One network streamer, priced at £996 and £650 respectively. More details at http://www.ziroaudio.com/clef-audio/
