Just having a change around for a while as is my want and put one of my old Audiolab 8000C pre amps in my system. I am surprised as to just how bloody good the phono stage is. Leaves a lot of stand alone units for dead.

Yes. I have two amps like that. Exceptional phono stages.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

I have Audiolab 8000A and I recapped it by Kevin Green and its amazing.
I don’t have any plan to change it. Also its connected with 8000p.
