    Default WTD: Small Powered Subwoofer

Despite my advice a friend has decided that they will get a small subwoofer to complement a pair of small bookshelf speakers. They are not looking for really deep bass, just something to add a bit more "presence" to the sound. Anything decent going on AOS?

If he's able to collect from Worsley before Monday I have a B&W ASW 2500 available?

I've got a pair of T+A TLW2A subs. doing nothing at the moment which might suit him. Hellish expensive when new. Will sell them singly for £250 or the pair for £450.
They are very compact, go down to 30hz , 300 watts , loads of controls and due to their size/shape can be used as speaker stands.
Send me a pm if you think he might be interested.

Sorry, I should have added that this is for a very modest system so looking for something very inexpensive. Thanks.

Geoff, if you need one for a trial rather than a full time fixture, you/he/they can have a loan of my REL Q150. I'm not bothered about selling it, but it's not currently in use and I'm local.

Still looking. Cosmetic appearance not important so long as working properly.

Anything lurking in the wardrobe or garage?

Geoff, I have a REL Q100E in the garage, just been removed from my system (we are moving and trying to whittle down what I have!!). It has a bit of bloating of the top where the last user dripped water onto it. If you PM me to let me know his budget I'm sure we can come to an arrangement.
Collection from Marlow, because it'd be financially prohibitive posting!

    Hi

I have a Gale SUB 6 active subwoofer boxed with manual.

I would provide a url for this sub but it seems that Gale no longer have a website and google is not being very helpful ... Aha! Found an old shpock ad with specs and images here http://en.shpock.com/i/V0CSudTpJllqi0Z8/

I would accept £55 inc P&P if interested.
