Default FS: Meridian G01 Stereo Control Unit (aka preamp)

    Hi All

This is a highly capable preamplifier incorporating an AM/FM tuner and has a Meridian Moving Coil phono stage installed.
It is in excellent condition, no scratches or dinks, and works very well.
I purchased it new in 2012.My only reason for selling is that I have changed to a Meridian G61R DSP Controller.
Boxed with as new Black MSR+, leads and manuals.

    Some Specifications:
Inputs: 6 unbalanced phono inputs plus Moving Coil Phono Stage (installed by Audio Images, Sheffield).
Copy (Tape) Output: 2 unbalanced phono outputs
Pre (Main) Output: 2 unbalanced phono outputs
    Headphone Output: 1 stereo jack
Trigger: 12V trigger output, 3.5mm mono jack, for automatic power on/off of power amplifier(s)
Controls: Front-panel soft keys and Meridian System Remote
Full specifications of the G01 can be found in this pdf file http://www.meridian-audio.info/public/g01[3117].pdf

I'm surprised that this preamp has not attracted an offer - or several.

Are Meridian products "out of fashion"?

Delivery possible within the Greater Manchester area.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Think you'll get more interest on the Meridian Unplugged forum, http://www.meridianunplugged.com/

Well, its either meridianunplugged or ebay as a next step I guess - unless anyone reading this wants to make a reasonable offer.
