Default Wanted pair or quad of ECC83/12AX7 valves

My new Kef Reference Model 4.2s are a little warm sounding when I use my valve pre (that's not the case with my TVC so can't blame the speakers) so I'd like to try some cleaner/purer/more transparent valves in it. I've currently got Teslas but I don't think they are the better old ones.

    NOS/very low use only please.

You should look to telefunken or philips Jan 12ax7wa, the ones with blue print

From my experience with other valves I was thinking Jan Philips, thanks.

I have some Edicron that are good, well made. I replaced them with Mullards NOS. I would not expect them to be better than your Teslas, but may be a better, more compatible, match for your amp.

You could try them and send them back if you don't like them. No problem there.

I googled and it said they might be Sovteks, in which case I'll be switching one pair for another. I'll pm you my email and you could send me pics and price if that's ok?
