A lesson in selling post brexit
I've sent stuff wth UPS to and from the UK many times with no problem. Today they picked up my Siggwan tonearm to ship to the States - I've just discovered, or rather the buyer has, that it's being returned to me. God knows why - as far as I know I did everything required including 4 comercial invoices.
The only thing I can think of is I marked it as a HiFi component but didn't complete a form for electronics - but it doesn't contain any electronics. It's made of wood for god's sake.
So, unhappy buyer and no doubt I've lost €115 on shipping and insurance. When and if it turns up or I can get an answer from them I'll no doubt have to pay to send it again. This is a lesson for those who think life will be rosy after brexit - forget easy sales.
