Default FS: Teac P-30 CD Transport

    Teac P-30 CD Transport.

Very reluctant sale, having gone streaming is the only reason I'm letting it go (as is the DAC used with it, advertised on here also).

Reference point CD Transport, weighs 15kg. Having heard many to make the judgement this is a true bargain as you'd have to spend a minimum four times to begin to 'better' it.

Perfect working condition, with original remote and feet. No working issues ever, from a smoke and pet free home. The only surface mark to speak of is a feint light scratch on the topside lid, which you see in the full rear image.

I have the original box and foam insert packaging, the transport's laser mechanism can be locked and secured by a built in anti-shock bracket but would prefer this be collected. Copy of the original manual is in PDF.

    Fully boxed it's 18kg.

I have used various cables with this including (as a digital coax) Audio Note AN-Vx 20 and 27 strand, a bespoke AES/EBU cable and also an ST glass optical cable from David Heaton of Audio Synthesis UK (not the one's advertised on his site) and would be happy to do a deal, for those interested (via PM).

Sell for £895, payment via bank transfer.

Truly superb transport. Still regret selling mine, but the same as you I use Tidal now.

    Bargain at this price folks.

On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio”

I've done a lot of reading re transports in my fickle desire to add a digital source to my system and the Teac has very favourable reviews.
