actually asian hornets are often not much bigger than ours, but some are. they mostly kill bees, to feed their larve. their sting can kill a human, but so can ours tbh. its probably best to avoid them. i know france has an issue with them, but dont know if they are in uk. doubt they will come up here; scottish wasps and bees with put the heid in themOriginally Posted by Pigmy Pony

Wasps do actually help to pollinate crops, so not all bad.
French hornets didn't seem aggressive when we were there, they flew around you once and then flew away.
The wasps on the other hand were not happy when I was destroying their nests

Wasps, hornets, ants and spiders don't bother me. If you don't disturb them they'll leave you alone.
I'm careful working outside 'cos we have quite a few biting spiders here, but it's not their fault if I move something they are hiding in.
