No - not quite! Although I would have much rather spent the money on some more audio kit.

What about if I couldn’t think of anything to write about but still wanted to create a thread that people could contribute to in some way.....?

Marco, do you reaaaly want to see some pictures of someone’s sofa? I picked up the post, did my recycling and thought I might need to jet-wash the drains earlier - full photos and monologue to follow.

Hahaha.... YES, I *would* like to see Barry's sofa, simply because he's a friend, so I'd like to see what his taste is like, and I'm into interior design (as I believe you are, judging by how nice your house was inside last time I was there).

In that respect I've recently been showing pics of my new kitchen, so the enquiry to see Barry's new sofa kind of follows on from that

The world doesn't revolve around hi-fi!

I'm looking forward to that. Especially the jet-washing.

I'd be interested in the drain jet washing. Not sure why one would do this.

When I bought this house the drains were clogged with fat (amongst numerous other problems, most of which are still extant 20 years on). Had to get Dynorod in. That was fun to watch. All this white crap coming up. Like something from an old Dr Who. Did not take any pics though.

I've seen just about every drainage problem. Big and small.

Drain clearing companies love to insist on using a high pressure water jetting machine, as it tacks a nice big lump of cost onto the bill. Nine times out of ten it's not really needed. Rods & plungers will do the job.
