But I am a bit OCD when it comes to replacing CDs back into their jewel cases. The writing on the CD has to be exactly horizontal with respect to the edge of the case! Needless to say I don't bother when it comes to putting LPs back in their sleeves.
I am so un-OCD that CDs sometimes make it into the wrong jewel case. I sat down the other evening intending to listen to some Mozart string quartets, only to find that I was instead listening to some Mozart piano concertos. The string quartets are, by a process of elimination, presumably in the piano concerto jewel case, but I can't find that.

Was that the one where that big 'thingy' popped up and poked you in the eye? I can imagine she'd have found it disconcerting, not being used to big things.

That's why other than here (if you count this as 'social media'), I hate social media, and accordingly shun it completely. I don't 'do' any of that bollocks, such as Facebook, Twitter, etc, as it's essentially given a 'voice' to idiots (social misfits of society/life's losers) who at one time were rightly gagged!!

That of course excludes those folk who use it properly, for its intended purpose.

One thing I noticed at school is that the bullies were not the tough kids. They might be big lads but if you whacked them one they went to pieces.

There's a lot of big lads who think just being big is enough for them to physically dominate anyone who isn't and they keep going until they find out one day their theory was wrong.
Spot on, although it helps if you're both big and able... The key thing, however, about being 'tough', is that it's mostly a mental, rather than physical thing, in terms of how FAR you're willing to go, to 'get the job done', as it were - and the real tough guys will show no remorse and go as far as it takes

I can tell that's not the one Marco sent me, as it doesn't have the spunk bubble, and it should bend slightly to the left.

And I thought I was his 'special' friend.

Absolutely right Marco, a good big 'un will always beat a good little 'in.

Your comment about tough guys, has reminded me of another incident at school.

I had treated myself to a whole swiss roll (chocolate cake with cream filling, lovely). This boy snatched the top off it, and I immediately slapped his left ear so hard that the wax flew out of his right ear. I told him to put it back, which he promptly did.

I wasn't sure if he was trying not to cry, or if his eyes were watering, but I felt so bad I gave it back to him. Feeling sorry for a bully, how f****d up is that?

That's why I could never be a 'tough guy'.

Just got the results back on my NHS bowel cancer 'shit kit'. All clear!

Came as a relief to me, and something of a surprise to Mrs. P. Whenever she has to use the toilet after I've just been, she often says 'You need to see a doctor, that's not normal'.

Well it's official now, I AM normal!

Interesting article on the carrying, possession and use of weapons.
