I liked this tweet by Michael McKean this morning.

Every time I hear the last bit of The Doors' "The End" on the radio, I get that old "somebody's gotta get up and change the record, man" feeling. Even when driving. Especially when driving.

I would be lying if I said I got similar feelings but he is a bit older than me, from the responses plenty of people do.

Was it the last track on one side of the lp you once had ???

I did but when I hear a track that ends an album that I had on vinyl I don't automatically think I need to change the record which is what I think Micheal McKean is saying - almost I guess like a lingering muscle memory. I can't say I recall the track often being played on the radio. I do sometimes feel frustrated when I hear a track and really like the next track on the album and know it's not coming on.

I might as well be in bed. It's too hot to be doing anything useful!

I just ate a Solero 'Exotic' ice. A sort of ice-cream on a stick with a peachy/mango flavoured coating. Very tasty it was!

Just what we need, new confections! You’d think after all this time, it would have all been thought of, but something new is constantly coming around.

Sounds good by the way! I’ll keep my eye open for one.

Just what is needed on the hottest day of the year.

I had a Lidl fake Magnum, very nice, in fact I prefer them to the real ones.

They may seem ok, but they are cheap Chinese copies, made from the phlegm coughed up by Chinese old women on the bus. And very toxic too. Don't come running to me when your legs fall off.
