    I wouldn't worry about the brain thing, you get used to it. It's amazing how many brain cells you can lose, and still function normally.

    Of course it helps to have the love and support of a good woman. Although I sometimes have doubts about the clothes she sends me out in.

    I know, they try their best don't they? I can put up with the clothes, but sometimes she puts my nappy on back to front, and it really chafes.

    Today I took delivery of a very large box and an Aiwa turntable !!
    Spendorman will be dissappointed I dont need a repair kit at all
    I only ride 'em, I don't know what makes 'em work

    Yes , a bit later . First impressions ,very good order . Lid clean and scratch free and all round tidy for a 43 yr old deck.
    Nice and heavy base , but an aftermaket headshell and cart (I dont know what it is !!??)
    I will have to look for an original sometime ,the one with a square head to it
    Plugged it in and it runs but strobe lights out
    All in all though , very pleased . Will do a thread on it
    I only ride 'em, I don't know what makes 'em work

    Mine's just the same. I looked a bit daft in Tescos wearing a Japanese Admiral's uniform
