Still Wednesday is looking good for good flying conditions
I love Hendrix for so many reasons. He was so much more than just a blues guitarist - he played damn well any kind of guitar he wanted. In fact I'm not sure if he even played the guitar - he played music. - Stevie Ray Vaughan

    Lunch.

    Nice and tasty!

Tesco 'High Protein' sliced bread (rather good), tuna & prawns, lettuce and Heinz 'Seroiusly Good' mayonaise (which is OK).

    Two reasons:

[1] I don't like to 'faff about' when it comes to eating; cutting away fat: removing bones etc.

[2] I'm squeamish: so I don't really want to be reminded about the source of the meat. Hence I much prefer cooking with mince or say chicken breasts or gammon steaks, rather than a whole chicken or cooking lamb or pork chops. I don't even like to eat fish served up with the head attached.

Hypocritical I know - I used to be a vegetarian but like the taste of meat too much.

Interesting, Barry, and thanks for being so honest. I totally understand where you're coming from, and it explains your past food choices

As somebody once said, "if you shouldn't eat animals, why are they made of meat?".

(not that I really like the stuff)

It must be magic. As soon as there's the slightest sound that could suggest food related activity, like rustling of bags, the fridge opening and closing or the tinkle of cutlery, the dog materialises at my side!
