Technics SP10 MK2 nearly ready!!!!

You missed it - I sold another TTS8000 just last year and it went to HongKong!.

I wouldn't have been able to buy it last year so it obviously wasn't the direction I was supposed to go in. This SP10 was only viable due to circumstances out of my control so.......thanks to those universal powers.

I have 2 - an original SL1000 mk2 with EPA100 arm and a DIY slate plinth with EPA250 arm.
Also a Sony TTS8000 with PUA9 arm.
All 3 are for keeps

If you want to improve it further and take it to sp10mk3 status buy a tenuto mat from guy at pure sound. I think it made a slight improvement to stability on mine.

I heard a tenuto mat at Angus's and yes, I will be buying one as soon as I can afford one!!!! I'll have spent nearly £2k this weekend and the wife has one bag already packed lol.

This one is undergoing restoration.
Oxidation under the lacquer resulted in the lacquer peeling off.
So a complete sand down and had the top plate anodised so looking like original.
Thought of giving it a tint but decided against it.
