    I heard a tenuto mat at Angus's and yes, I will be buying one as soon as I can afford one!!!! I'll have spent nearly £2k this weekend and the wife has one bag already packed lol.

    I have a Micro Seiki CU180 cooper mat on the SL1000mk2 and it sure improved the sound quality.

    Took me a looong time to obtain one but prices have skyrocketed in the past year. They are now fetching silly money!

    This one is undergoing restoration.
    Oxidation under the lacquer resulted in the lacquer peeling off.
    So a complete sand down and had the top plate anodised so looking like original.
    Thought of giving it a tint but decided against it.
