    They come in gold plated, if one is fussy.
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    No Degradation in sound at all...you've heard my system pete.....i'm using a bnc-rca adapter with the Kimber D60 coax....

    What are you doing with this thing? If it is instrumentation then the possible deviation from ideal impedance might be significant, but if you are attempting to listen to audio through (for example) a USB to BNC interface and need a BNC to RCA connector fed by a cable under a few metres long then no chance it can possibly make any difference. Don't worry yourself, the problem won't be the connector!
