Same here, windy but warm though and a layer of dust being laid on everything - wind from the desert methinks.

They are getting closer to controlling these winds apparently, or at least steering them. Soot and dust particles being seeded to tops of the hurricane etc. Trouble is someone else cops it and it is no longer an act of God then. Morals eh?

The wind is getting stronger and blustery. The sky is sort of overcast, but the sun can be seen as an orange blob with haze around it. Humid and warm though.

Warm and very windy. Since midday, the sky has been a weird brown/grey colour and the Sun is visible as an orange glow. Quite dark now at 1605.

Dark and very grey here, winds gusting very hard now. The eye is still hundreds of miles away over Galway.

House has shook a couple of times

    Storm isn't here yet

Three dead in the South or Ireland, so far, please God no more.
    Regards Neil
