I can get one new for €8k here....

As an aside I've re biased the Cary's (they were way out) and also dialed in about 2db of feedback - completely different. These kensingtons have me reassessing my priorities.

There's a nice Mactone mh34 in Japan for a very reasonable €2k. According to user feedback the go to amps are Leben, Mactone, Atmasphere for the kensingtons.

It will take me a couple of weeks to have that amount of cash €4.5k plus fights - it's a bitch but I'll just have to hope another comes along next month - if it were a dealer they'd wait but this guy seems to want rid asap.

Don't forget Radford. Don't know anything about Atmasphere.

Have heard anecdotally of reliability issues with Mactone.

A few weeks ago Will at Radford Revival gave me first refusal on his last (to be restored) STA100. Sadly I could not get that past my wife (even though she heard and loved the STA100 sound). Perhaps Will still has the last one for sale?

Personally I would simply just pick up the 'phone and have a chat. His number is on his website and he is a very friendly chap.

If you fancy OTL the go for a Berning far superior to Atamasphere especially in your climate! They make very good space heaters with all the heat they generate.

The Berning's have wonderful transparency and speed they really reproduce the timbre and harmonics of the instruments. Not easy to get hold of this side of the pond but neither are the other amplifiers on your list!

After thinking and thinking and almost going for something different my mind and my heart is set on the leben cs-660p (the 1000p is out of my reach in terms of saving up and patience!). If anyone has one rusting away in the attic please let me know!

Hi there - I bought my Leben in to the UK from Audio Serum, in Slovenia. I dealt with a man called Anze, who was fantastic.

    Have a look here http://www.audio-serum.si/en/shop/?t...type=0&promo=0

There's a 1000 ex demo, which you might be interested in. When I listed to a 1000, I was unimpressed and preferred my 600.
