Looking for Mactone or Leben

Some lovely stuff on that site. The leben looks great - but I'm going to hold out for the earlier 660p. Not sure why but my instinct tells me that's the one - and my instinct is usually right. Will keep an eye on the site for sure and have put a wanted as on hifi for sale.

A while ago, retro reproductions in edinburgh had a 660.

Strangely, it was on their website, so I enquired and he'd then decided to keep it. Might be worth checking if he still has it?

Have emailed and called them. Answer machine. It's on website but marked as 'due in' and is bundled with preamp. Waiting...

I seem to recall having trouble communicating with them on a Friday as well.

The guy in Woolwich is to too complicated but a bargain - cash on collection so even if someone handled it for me I'd have to trust them with 4k.

Have emailed the guy in France and could drive to collect and pay - just isn't answering!

Edinburgh is silent....
