This isn't really a Siggwan - it's a unique hybrid, made for me by the maker Analogue Instruments New Zealand, of the Siggwan unipivot (arm wand) and Elementum gimballed tonearm (bearing). So it's a traditional gimballed arm.
Every part is beautifully machined from brass and the arm wand is cocobolo - it's a thing of real beauty, visually and sonically.
It's wired from headshell to solid copper Eichmann plugs with the best Cardas, and has an effective mass of 14g. Pivot to spindle is 295.6mm. it uses a Rega 3 point fixing. VTA is easily done, and there is also azimuth adjustment.
Upgrading to a Reed 3P from Hugo so this needs to find a good home and someone who can appreciate the beautiful sonics of a wooden wand.
I paid €1,599 two years ago for it and in the spirit of the forum am asking for €800 - so half price. Will be sent UPS insured, postage included for Europe. For outside Europe I will check shipping and add to the price.
Cosmetically I'd say 9/10. Functionally 10/10.
PM me if interested, but I won't ship for a week or so.
