Interesting, I find that whilst point source speakers give great image they tend to have a smaller sweet spot than multi-driver arrangements - maybe the lack of baffle aids this here?

Fair enough, there's always more speakers to hear!

I know they're not 'real' tannoys but the 609s I had were pretty location specific.
