    Default Hi Antique HiFi

Hello I've just joined the forum- I bought my system in the 80's initially a Quad 33/303 with Tannoys and then a 44/606 with ESLs using a Sony psx65 for the records.
I have been persuaded to dig my vinyl out by my son, but the turntable has become idiosyncratic, probably due to lack of use, can anyone help with who could get this fixed? The rest of the system works fine.
    Thanks,
    Dikky

    Hi Dikky. Welcome to AOS.

Tell us what music you like and what future plans if any you have for your Hi-Fi. Apart of course getting your turntable going.

If you'd like advice on that, there are plenty of people here who can give an informed opinion. I see you've started a thread on that. I'll move it to the Analogue Art section for you, where it can be viewed by everybody.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    Welcome to AoS Richard.

Are your electrostatics made by Quad, and if so which model are they?

Hope you get your TT sorted. What are your tastes in music?

    Regards
    Barry
