I wouldn't have accepted an offer, I'm afraid! Price is firm on these.

I'm reducing the price to £2300 for a quick sale, but won't go any lower than this.

I don't know why these aren't selling, they are final destination speakers and whenever they come up they get good money. I sold a pair earlier this year as I purchased the Limited Edition version, to a guy in Chicago. Pharos handled the shipping no problem, door to door in 2 days. Sold for £2,800 I recall, as much more expensive in the US. So if you need to shift them, maybe advertise over there.
That said, £2300 is a cracking price for a great speaker.

Thanks for that Steven. I've not been bumping my ad much because I'm so painfully divided over whether or not to sell. Initially finiancial need was pushing the decision but I can survive without now. The more general decision is whether I would be better off with a smaller speaker for my room. My room is quite modest, and very tricky for positioning. The 5Pus sound spectacular in a near-field arrangement, but I can't leave them in that position due the awkward placement of two doors. They sound very good in a standard position, and they have beaten all other contenders. In fact they make it almost impossible to go in another direction because they show up the flaws of most other speakers so easily. However I still feel I'd be happer with a medium sized speaker that doesn't dominate my room so much. The speakers are qutie close to side walls and I can hear the room interfering with the sound ( I have treatment, but its very difficult to treat first reflection points due to windows). The problem is the only medium sized speaker I've heard so far that I think I could live with was £13k. I really do feel a bit stuck with this.
