The main carriers of disease in the modern world are pigeons and children. Just stay at least 10 yards from either at all times and you'll all be fine.

Correct but I was surprised how naff I felt. The Flu jab never affects me.

Getting mine next week. Usually no side effects, but on one occasion my arm was so sore it would wake me up at night. It persisted for three days and I was about to go back to surgery and complain, when it suddenly stopped.

Our surgery puts up a big banner urging all over 65s to take advantage of the free jab then I hear on the radio it doesn't really make any difference for over 65s! Never mind, have to go on principle as it's free!!

I dont like needles which is a natural reaction when you think about it.

I still cringe at the pop and pain of a school jab with a massive needle which seemed blunt. The upper arm still feels sensitive and indeed damaged there.

Therefore I would have to be half dead or definately needing travel protection before I accepted someone jabbing me up.
