His rant should be aimed at customs? Import duties and taxes have nothing to do with parcelforce, they can only only deliver once customs, ie the taxman says so, what an I'll informed bell end

I'm no fan of Parcelforce, but I'd have to agree with you. A really dumb rant.

I have yet to have any problem with Parcel Force, no breakages, and no serious delays though I don't buy to often from America.

If buying online I ask for Parcel Force next day or 48 hour service and as I say so far no issues. My Hermes are a disaster.

I think his issue is with customs, who depending on the item it can take awhile. Buy from outside the EU (though in a few years that will also become an issue) and you run the risk of customs delays, though so far I have had no major issues.

    Note I say so far.
    Regards Neil

I use them a lot and have had no problems. A recent case of an amp being damaged by the courier during its return journey to the customer was courtesy of UPS.

A total bell-end of the highest order. What he needs (and sounds like he hasn't had in a long time, other than when molesting his blow-up doll) is a right good FUCK!

I also use Parcelforce, so far no issues.

Customs clearance is complex, I don't blame people for not understanding it. But if you are going to do a public rant about it, do a little fact checking first.

As someone who lives out of the UK and buys from outside the EU I know the nightmares than can happen when customs is involved. This is something overlooked by brexiteers - all that selling and buying across the EU will suddenly get very very complex, never mind the taxes. I won't be buying from the UK once it's outside the EU.

Indeed. At the risk of going off-topic, those who haven't thought this through are in for a nasty shock when reality bites.

I think it's relevant, or will be. A lot of people currently making/scraping a living on markets like eBay will have a much harder time. The only reason I don't buy from outside the EU is because of the hassle involved, nevermind the money. I buy almost exclusively from the UK - including from guys on here. This just won't happen in the future - not for me. Carriers won't be relevant - poorly staffed/trained customs will be the problem.
