I see the phrase "CCTV footage" several times, yet no reference as to what it showed, other than evidence against the cyclist.
The case has been very poorly covered.

Is this still about the vinyl illusion? I wish to report a thread hijacking! The thread has turned 180 degrees south with some superfluous transmissions

I've been watching the Michael Fremer videos and I believe in vinyl brothers and sisters..... I believe!

The thread title attracts all the argumentative types and when we are bored arguing about that we argue about something else instead. It beats going home to your family. I think.

OK, I have suspended our purchasing of all vinyl until I have evaluated vinyl v compact disc for the remainder of this week. Two weeks ago I bought the new Gary Numan album on vinyl and was so blown away by it that I have now bought it on CD so that we may do a direct comparison. Now impressive as it was on vinyl, I am expecting CD to be utterly mind blowing. We shall see.

Fortunately we are all different, I didn't like it. It seems he found some sounds on his gear and played it to death on most of the tracks.

Well of course everyone will not like it, but it seems a bit churlish to point out that you don't like this particular record. I will say something positive about a subject if I agree with the poster, but if I didn't agree I would just not bother to post, seems an unnecessary thing to do and designed to create friction to me.

Hey Brook, it's perfectly OK. It won't cause any friction with me. And yes, I think he overuses some of the sound patches in the same way Depeche Mode do which is why it may well sound very DM like which it does. Compared to the vinyl version,
the CD is just so precise and powerful with the vinyl in my system sounding rather flat and dull. Once again CD rules the roost.
