Anyone know of a high quality headphone amp for a Raspberry Pi to use with one of the hat DACS available?

I'm Shane.
The stuff from Schiit are good. Also put down the NVA AP10H on the list.

Just to clarify, I meant a headphone amp 'hat board' rather than an external headphone amp.

I'm Dave.
Evening
IQaudIO Pi-DAC+ has a built-in headphone amplifier

The JustBoom DAC HAT also has a built-in headphone amplifier

Audiophonics ST400 V2 HAT Module Class D Amplifier / Headphone Amp / DAC PCM512
http://www.audiophonics.fr/en/amplif...--p-10248.html
These are all appear to be DACs/amps with a built-in headphone amplifier - I'm not aware of a stand-alone headphone amplifier but there may be one out there

Currently listening to:
Wilmslow Audio Gemini speakers with external crossovers | DCB1 -> Neurochrome 86 Monos | Matrix Audio X-SPDIF 2 -> Denafrips Pontus II | Roon Server/ HQPlayer | Spotfire interconnects / speaker cable
They all use basically the same Headphone chipamp, I have one of the IQAudio and it sounds pretty good with efficient lowish impedance headphones but I would expect it is limited by the 5v supply (the Justboom is much the same) whereas the audiophonics requires an external power unit so, in theory, should be able to deliver better power - I haven't tried one though and it seems to be only available for B+ and Pi2 models.
Personally I would prefer to use a DAC hat and feed to an external headphone amp - in fact on one of my Pi's I use USB out to an ODAC and O2 headphone amplifier combined unit which isn't much bigger than the Pi and sounds really good - JDS Labs are one of the suppliers.
