    That's about it plus it has a lid.

    Sounds great, superb engineering and looks to impress your mates.

    already beat the sound with a fitted lid , michell odyssey , upgraded suspension , 4 spiders , upgraded the motor now weighs nearly 3kg , all fitted in the original case , upgraded the bearing further than michell , with a delrin top spindle decoupled the top of the bearing from the platter and used the same ceramic ball, i went that bit further , and the lid closes ,

    Forgot to mention that the Michell Orbe SER is 4500.

    Thanks for the info - does look nice with the new thicker/bigger plinth.
    Main system:

    Digital.
    Raspberry PI plus IQAudio DAC+. Philips DCC 730. NAS drive plus usb drives connected to the router.

    Analogue.
    Michell Orbe with arm decoupling kit. AudioNote Arm 1 V2. Goldring Elite MC and Michell ISO

    Amp. Pure Sound A30
    Speakers. Reiver Jenna floor standers

    Spare system:
    Audiolab 8000a. 3 Lenco L75 turntables, assorted cartridges and arms. Garrard SP25 mk2.
    Loads of different cables of various value....

    It doesn't actually lean over like this. I'm beginning to think I have one leg shorter than the other..
