Old timer back in the groove

As it happens I am considering a Croft 25r/7r pair as a hopeful improvement on my old (but nice imho) MF 300a. I just have the feeling that the Linn and the Spendor a6 speakers could do with something "different" Any comments would be appreciated.

Lovely combo... I've had both. I fully recommend it.

It will certainly be different and in a very good way.

I still use a Croft pre. It's an older model, (epoch elite) with mods a-plenty by Glenn. Stunning.
