    I'm Roger.

    Default Hello.

As summer fades away and the nights draw in I find myself drawn back into listening to music more and more.

At present my system consists of a

    Luxman LV103 tube/valve hybrid.
    Lenco L69
    X-LP phono stage.
    Snell J speakers
    M Dac

I listen mostly on Spotify during the day with vinyl sessions in the evening.

I have a wide taste in music but I suppose female vocals on a nice acoustic set is my favourite.
Hi Fi fights for time with my other hobbies of photography, motorcycling and model gliding.

    Hi Roger. Welcome to AOS.

That's an unusual selection of equipment you're using. I'd guess the Luxman and Snell speakers could work rather well together.

Tell us what plans if any you may have for your syatem.

There's a lot going on here, so take a look around and join in the chat, the members are friendly.

Which bit of Cornwall are you in? It's a nice place.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.

    Hi Geoff,

It is a bit of a hotch potch system at the moment, I intend to build around the Snells now that I have refurbished them. The Luxman works well with them but I have been looking at going either to all valve amp or a good class A.

Front end I would like to build a Lenco 75 in a heavy plinth, with that in mind I have recently bought a L75 and started stripping it.

    I am in Newquay.

    Regards Roger

A few of us have had a play with Lencos. Me included.

If you've not seen it already, you may want a browse through our Andrew's Lenco saga. There's a lot of it! http://theartofsound.net/forum/showt...O-GL75-Project

Hi Roger,i am a newbie too so "hello"
I live in Cornwall for part of the year,a few miles from Looe but Newquay was the place I loved to be in just prior to,and just after marriage. That was over 40 yrs ago but I can still remember the excitement building as the holls to the SW drew closer !!

    Good luck with your plans

    Dave
