    Default Little Dot valve amp.

I recently took my first step into the world of tubes with a Little Dot headphone/pre amp from amazon.
a very highly regarded piece of kit...I am currently using to great effect purely as a pre.
it has only one input but this presents no problems as all my sources are routed through my DAC... a SMSL sanscrit, also cheaply purchased from amazon.

I was wondering if anyone has experience of this amp and can recommend a decent tube upgrade, the supplied Chinese valves are reputed to be quite poor.

I must add that even on its current tubes the sound is (for the money) stunning.

Watford Valves do sets they have tested specifically for the Little Dot range.
I recently bought the Mullard/Novosibirsk set for my Mk2 and am really pleased.
    2 x M8100/CV4010/EF95 Mullard
    2 x 6H6PI/6H6N Novosibirsk “NEVZ-Soyuz"

Mullard ecc182 in place of 6n6 and as Tony says ef95 for the other
Ecc182 are fairly rare but should not too expensive
Old mullards should show the stock valves a clean pair of heels
Pm me if you can't get hold of any
    Cheers
