I would like to apologise to any visitors to Cornwall this summer who have experienced the very poor weather. Every time I have attempted to get on my motorbike rain clouds have appeared out of a clear blue sky and dumped their contents on me. Clearly I am a rain God(copyright Douglas Adams) and rain just loves me.

PS, as we speak there are beautiful blue sky's over Newquay, but it is still raining over my house!

The 'summer' weather has generally been rubbish across the whole of the UK this year.

I was in Cornwall visiting my brother in spring and it was reasonably decent then. Shortly after I got back it all went downhill. Coverack amongst other places, being washed out by flash floods and that's only round the corner from him.

I was right about rain coming. It must also have been pretty windy last night, some potted plants have been blown over.

Quite nice out there at the moment. Bright and sunny, if not too warm at 14C.

Cracking day here in Wrexham! Sun is out and there are lovely blue skies. Not the warmest, though...

Never mind, if the weather's ok over the weekend, we're going for a run to Durham (and surrounding areas), to see the castle and do some shopping, as someone said it was nice there. So I'm looking forward to it
