Here’s a thought, “Show us the Back Side of your Speakers”, maybe?

Don't often dip in as I don't really do hi-fi any more, what with the non working ears and lack of time and preparations for moving back to the UK etc. However, the idea of seeing the back of speakers rather appeals so here are two sets of Teufels that I made!!

    Hi Marco and Geoff,

Although I don't do hi-fi now, I still do music. Probably more now as I don't worry too much about the gear. Sennheisers and Rogers Ravensbrook with the Mac does me fine.

We are trying to finish the house as after ten years here we are getting itchy feet and wan't to make what will undoubtedly be the last move afore we go! Scotland beckons. We need a slot racing club for me and a lawn bowls club for Ronnie so Dundee or Inverness seems the choice. I would prefer the West Coast but the clubs will be our main social life I suspect as we don't wan't to live too close to a town, being country folk.

Not much looking forward to the NHS after here but one can't have everything. Some scenery will be welcome as it's all a bit flat round here much as it's lovely.

So when I do use the speakers, the hills will be alive with the sound etc........

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”
