Ha - I *knew* that wasn't your usual pad! It looks rather like a system set up in a dealer's demo room
But it's fairly 'textbook' for how a system should be set up, if you want to do the job properly... It's the ducks, though, that make it all sound good, so that's ultimately what's missing!

Another blast from the past. Compact transmission line speakers using Audax drive units. Built by me in the eighties.
That is an incredibly rare Onkyo stereo crossover/power-amp on top. Note the biscuit tin stand and the Harman Kardon 730 reciever in the cabinet with Technics SL-1800 on top and Teac A-103 cassette deck below. Those were the days!
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
