Default 'How Smart Are You?' Online quiz.

I just did this to pass some time after finding it on the Google News page.

My score was Master. Probably a bit too long in the tooth to be a genius these days .

Bachelors degree with only 30 out of 50. Thick as a brick I am. I dont have a mind that soaks information in like a sponge and Im getting very forgetful these days. School taught me how to regurgitate stuff with revision and acronyms. Im not sure how much I actually learnt if anything

Some might say Im a lazy learner because if something doesnt interest me I dont even bother with the basics. Im knowledgeable on certain things that I have taken years learning but still wouldnt do well when put on the spot with probing questions.

There were some easier questions in there and a film I enjoyed or object/ experience I relate to triggered a good enough guess.

Interesting but when you see the real quiz masters in action, I feel lot of these online quiz tests are watered down to make us feel better

That's not bad at all, I think that might take some beating.

I scored 41, I got some wrong that I really should have known, battle of the somme for instance.

48/50 due to a couple of lucky guesses.
I got the Wright bothers date and the dinosaur questions wrong.

Man,that took forever. Scored 39. There was some educated guessing. And the odd blind punt: 'How many bones in the human body?' Bollocks. I bet even doctors don't know that.

This is testing knowledge not intelligence.
"Smart" has nothing to do with it. How thick can they get?

    Precisely!

Still good fun. I got 41.

Felt quite USA focused. Mind you I got the EPA and Southern States questions correct.

It was relatively straight forward when presented with 4 choices for most questions, as I had a good idea of what the answer was. As I Said, a few lucky guesses helped tremendously.
On Mastermind you need to know the answer, and if that quiz was done in the same style, my score would have been much much lower.
