It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
Current Lash Up:
TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.
That LE20 tweeter has a 'sizzle' to it, the cardboard coned mid honks at you and the bass driver intrudes into the lower mid. The bass is tight from the driver, but the cabinet is underdamped, so you get odd sounds from the port. Other than that they are just dandy!

They were something I'm very interested in trying. I've heard a couple of jbl speakers now and like what I've heard so far.

Firebottle modded Tron Convergence Phono Stage,
Bluesound Node 2i, Technics SL DZ 1200 CD
Denon PMA1700ne amp
Yamaha NS1000M Speakers.
These are worth investigating, the JBL L212 system; towers + sub woofer
